Joint Support
What this is. A joint blend of glucosamine, MSM, turmeric and boswellia. Taken by people with everyday stiffness, particularly in knees, hips and hands.
Seven ingredients, and each one has its own number. No proprietary blend, no single total standing in for the doses inside it. Two capsules give you 970 mg of actives, broken out below.
What you are actually getting, per 2-capsule serving
- MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) — 300 mg
- GlucosaGreen vegetal glucosamine HCl — 200 mg
- Turmeric — 200 mg
- White Willow Bark — 150 mg
- Boswellia, standardised to 65% boswellic acids — 100 mg
- Black Pepper, standardised to 95% piperine — 10 mg
- Hyaluronic Acid — 10 mg
Two of those are standardised, so the arithmetic is worth doing. 100 mg of boswellia at 65% is about 65 mg of boswellic acids. 10 mg of black pepper at 95% is about 9.5 mg of piperine.
Worth knowing before you buy
This is a seven-ingredient formula, which means every dose in it is smaller than a single-ingredient bottle of the same thing. Be clear-eyed about that.
The glucosamine trials almost all use 1,500 mg a day. This has 200 mg. MSM studies typically run 3–6 g a day. This has 300 mg. Boswellia research tends to sit at 100–250 mg of boswellic acids; at about 65 mg, this one is under the bottom of that range. If you have picked one of these ingredients to take seriously at a research dose, buy that ingredient on its own — it will cost less and deliver more.
The panel says “Turmeric”, not a standardised curcumin extract, and no standardisation is stated. So we cannot tell you the curcumin content, and we are not going to guess it. The piperine is there because it slows the breakdown of several compounds, turmeric’s included.
What this formula is actually for: covering seven things at once at a modest level, with every number printed. What it is not: a research dose of anything.
How to take it

Cautions
White willow bark contains salicin, the compound aspirin is derived from. Do not take it if you are allergic or sensitive to aspirin or other salicylates, and do not give it to children or teenagers recovering from a viral illness. Speak to your prescriber first if you take an anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication, as willow bark and turmeric can both add to that effect — mention it before surgery too. Piperine raises blood levels of a number of prescription drugs, so if you take anything regularly, check with your pharmacist before adding this.
Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you are pregnant, nursing, under 18, taking prescription medication or living with a medical condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting this or any supplement.
