What it's for

NMN is a direct precursor to NAD+, a coenzyme every cell uses in energy metabolism and DNA repair, and whose levels decline with age. Raising NAD+ in humans with NMN has been demonstrated; whether that produces the outcomes the longevity market promises has not.
