What it's for

Garlic has been eaten as a food and used as a remedy for thousands of years. Its activity comes largely from allicin, which forms when raw garlic is crushed. It is taken for general cardiovascular and immune support. The research is extensive but the effect sizes are small, and preparations differ enormously in how much allicin they can actually produce.

How to take it
