Osterly Market Vitamin D3 & K2 Softgels
D3 and K2, both dosed, in an oil carrier.
The same D3 and K2 pairing as our capsule, in a softgel with a carrier oil — which genuinely matters for fat-soluble vitamins.
What it's for
D3 regulates calcium absorption and immune function; K2 as MK-7 helps direct that calcium into bone. The softgel exists because both vitamins are fat-soluble, and a carrier oil measurably improves how much of each you absorb compared with a dry powder in a capsule.
How to take it
- One softgel daily with the largest meal of the day
- Food is not optional for this one — absorption drops a lot without it
- If you do not know your vitamin D level, a blood test tells you more than any label can
- The adult tolerable upper intake level is 4000 IU a day. Check the dose on the panel against that before taking it long term
- K2 interacts with warfarin. Talk to your prescriber before taking it
On the label
- D3 and K2 doses stated separately
- K2 form specified
- Oil carrier
- 120 softgels
What this is not
- Not vegan
- Not a higher dose than the capsule — just a better carrier
- Not to be taken on an empty stomach
The straight answer
For fat-soluble vitamins a softgel in oil beats a dry capsule. That is a real difference and it is most of why this version exists.
