Osterly Market Liposomal Glutathione 1000mg – With Vitamin C
1000 mg glutathione per serving, liposomal, with vitamin C.
Glutathione in a liposomal carrier with vitamin C, which recycles it back to its active form.
What it's for
Glutathione is the body's principal internal antioxidant, made in every cell and central to how the liver handles toxins. The long-standing problem is that ordinary oral glutathione is broken down in the gut before it reaches the bloodstream. Liposomal delivery wraps it in fat to survive that trip — the approach is sound and the human data supporting it is real but limited.
How to take it
- Take on an empty stomach, ideally first thing
- Food reduces absorption of the liposomal carrier
- Vitamin C is included because it regenerates oxidised glutathione back to its useful form
- Some people report a sulphurous taste. That is the molecule, not a fault
On the label
- 1000 mg glutathione per serving, liposomal
- Vitamin C included
- 30, 60 or 120 capsules
What this is not
- Not a skin-whitening product, whatever this category claims elsewhere
- Not intravenous glutathione, which is a different thing entirely
- Not standard oral glutathione, which largely does not survive digestion
The straight answer
Glutathione is heavily marketed for skin lightening in some markets. We are not selling it for that, and the evidence for it does not support the claim.
