Those two vitamins are not digestive enzymes and they are not there for digestion; they are a common addition because plant-based eaters are more likely to be low in B12.

How to take it

• One capsule at the start of your largest meal
• Take it with food, never on an empty stomach
• The added B12 is a small amount, not a replacement for a proper B12 supplement if you are vegan
• If you have an ulcer or are on blood thinners, check with a doctor — some enzyme blends include bromelain, which affects clotting
